Photography for every smile (even the silly ones)!

  • 2 weeks prior: Picture Day materials arrive.

  • 1 week prior: Make sure we have your class lists and send home flyers for parents.

  • 1 day prior: Apply reminder sticker to younger children; verbal reminder for older children.

Before Picture Day

  1. Send Reminders Home – Share the date multiple times (flyers, emails, texts) so parents don’t forget.

  2. Provide Clothing Guidelines – Suggest solid colors, avoid busy patterns, and remind kids about neat hair.

  3. Organize Class Schedules – Create a clear rotation schedule by class/grade and share it with staff.

  4. Collect Orders/Forms Early – Encourage parents to order online ahead of time or return envelopes before picture day.

  5. Prepare Staff & Volunteers – Assign helpers to guide students, fix collars, or smooth flyaway hair.

  • Have special requests? Just let the photographer know! Please inform your photographer of any special situations or needs. We do our best to accommodate for EACH individual child.

  • Relax! We will take care of it.

The Day Of

  1. Have a Holding Area – A classroom or hallway where kids line up and stay organized while waiting.

  2. Use Student Name Cards/Labels – Each student should have a card with their name, teacher, and grade for easy tracking.

  3. Keep Things Moving – Have staff/volunteers ready to direct classes in and out quickly to avoid backups.

  4. Touch-Up Station – Place mirrors, tissues, wipes, and combs nearby for last-minute fixes.

  5. Encourage Natural Smiles – Remind teachers to reassure kids—it helps students feel relaxed and confident.

After Picture Day

  • Each family has up to 10 days to order their photos using our online proof process.

  • Packages will be delivered to your school within 4 weeks after the order deadline for distribution.

  1. Communicate Delivery Timeline – Let parents know when to expect proofs or finished packages.

  2. Plan for Retakes – Schedule a makeup day for absent students or those who need a redo.
